Arrowhawk RS is a two-masted, fat-waisted, low-draft schooner commissioned by the Royal Service in 844 (i.e., 7 years ago) to interdict pirate traffic in and around the shallow-water island chain known as The Screen.
Captained by Captain Tunstall, the ship is completely staffed with 20 sailors and current has 16 seaman on board.
- Others on board include four officers, 8 marines, 4 bowmen, 4 galley slaves, and a team of three druids for weather control.
- That’s 39 folks on board now, with a theoretical max of 50.
- The two masts are very different. The main mast, positioned centrally, holds three massive rectangular sails which give the ship great top speed. The half-mast, in the fore, is a triangular rigger-sail which in some situations gives Arrowhawk RS significant advantages in manuverability.
- If the wind gives, up to 16 people may man the eight oars.
